Please Help Us
This web site is a completely free online book on photography and we intend for it to remain free. We have developed it not as a means of making money, but because we enjoy photography and wanted to create something on the subject that we thought might be of interest to other people. We also thought it would be a challenge and something that we can hopefully be proud of. We have put considerable effort into developing this site and plan to continnue to do so in the future.
But this is where you can help us.
1. If you find this site useful, why not make a small contribution to enable us to keep it up and running (we have to pay for the hosting and the domain name)? We want this site to remain a free resource, however we hope that some people might think it is worth maybe the cost of a photography magazine (or more if you think this is a really good web site) to help us cover the cost of hosting it. The easiest way is to use PayPal although please get in touch if you want to send us a cheque.

2. This site contains a lot of technical information but in some places it may contain the personal views of the two authors, Colin and Phil (although we try to point this out and keep it as factual as possible). We would welcome comments from others to help us expand on some of the sections.
So if you want to help us out, have any comments on the content already on here, or maybe even want to write a guest article for us, then please get in touch.
We have a "Friends of Creative Photography" page: regular contributors, guest writers and financial sponsors will be listed (if they want to be).
